Join us as we explore one of our favourite local attractions- the stunning National Trust property at Saltram in Devon. Located just on the edge of Plymouth, Saltram House and Gardens is a perfect cruise excursion for guests arriving in the up and coming port, as well as a brilliant day our for anyone visiting the area. The cream tea in the Chapel Tea Room is particularly good (and the best that we have had so far at a National Trust property), providing of course that you make it properly #creamfirst 😁 As well as the pay-to-enter gardens and house, Saltram also offers extensive grounds that are free to visit and include riverside walls, a playpark, and a cafe. Join Marina as she embarks on a 4 night Northern European Christmas Markets cruise on P&O Ventura! Sadly Joe couldn't sail due to work commitments, and so Marina was accompanied by our 2 children and her mum. Join us as we explore cabin E503, our Obstructed Ocean View (outside/sea view) grade cabin on P&O Ventura! This compact cabin was home to Marina, her mum, and our 2 children for a 5 night Northern Europe cruis ein December 2022. Despite being fairly snug for 4 people, it was comfortable enough for a short duration cruise. The main issue that we found was the wear and tear, which was more than we would have expected to find. Its worth noting that it has been 5 yars since Ventura's last refit was in 2018, and she is due to be refurbished later this year (2023). What do you think? Have you saile don Ventura recently?
