Following a prestigious international basketball career, Boris Diaw has chosen to turn the page on professional sports and become the owner of a Lagoon SEVENTY 7 n°3, christened Babac. Passionate about diving and travel, he began – six years ago, now – his world tour, a project he wishes to extend over 13 years. Six months each year, he cruises the world’s oceans and seas. The rest of the time, Boris spends traveling between France and the United States. “I have always loved to travel, and I asked myself what to do when I retire from professional sports. I began to think about this, maybe, ten years ago. Travel? Yes! Would I have the time? Yes! Nothing better than travelling by sailboat.”

This painter treated herself to a Lagoon 42 to combine her two passions, the sea and painting. In search of serenity and security, Christel abandoned life on land to settle aboard her Lagoon 42. For her, the ocean is a haven of peace where she feels at home. When she started out aboard her Jeanneau 33i, she knew very little about the maritime world and was somewhat apprehensive about taking the plunge. But over the years she has learned to sail on her own. After training aboard her monohull, she decided to pursue her adventure as captain aboard a catamaran! For her, the most important thing is to “feel good in your boat”, as if you were at home, safe and comfortable, so that you can live serenely.
