Drawbridge on Diamond Causeway over the ICW linking Skidaway Island to the mainland

Hugh and Suze crossing St. Catherine's Sound on the GA coast on December 01, 2012. Tide was ebbing and wind was incoming from the NE making the crossing a little testy. This is actually quite normal anytime the wind and tides oppose each other in these sounds. At least this time the waves hadn't built up more that a foot or so.

Causton Bluff Draw Bridge over the ICW on President's Street/Island Expressway in Savannah is one of the few remaining draw bridges along the Georgia coast. s/v Sabrina & s/v Roma are motoring under the drawbridge on November 11, 2012.
