In tropical open waters like Indonesia, water temperature is a crucial factor in determining a diver’s experience. It’s essential for divers to be mindful of this factor and to use the appropriate exposure protection, like a wetsuit, to ensure their safety and comfort while diving. Typically, a 3mm or 5mm wetsuit is recommended for diving in Indonesia, although a shorty or skinsuit may be suitable for some dives in the warmer months. On the way from Kaimana to Sorong, we were super lucky. We met our friends, whalesharks and dolphins underwater for hours! We went for a speed boat tour into the Jungle, asking ourselves if someone already has been here! Beautilful memories.
