Impossible Dream was fortunate to connect with the sailing community in Naples FL this past March. Thanks to the generous efforts of our Naples Port Ambassador Jeff Gage, we were able to share the joy of sailing with the Collier County Adaptive Sailing Program participants. Patricia Rosen organized three packed sails aboard our barrier-free catamaran. We hope you enjoy this video recalling the great times all the disabled sailors had aboard The Dream.

Using The impossible Dream as a platform we invite filmmakers and content creators on board for a seminar, facilitated by an industry professional, on technical aspects of production and narrative storytelling. Then we go sailing. The participants then film their experience and produce a short video. It is our goal to encourage Filmmakers in the disabled community to create work and seek out opportunities in the media industry. Please enjoy and share these videos. I hope you have as much fun watching them as we did making them. A special Thank You to John Floresca, a professional Cameraman and filmmaker based in New York, for leading this Summer's Media Lab.

Over the last decade, Impossible Dream has yearly partnered with over 60 disability-focused organizations. In these 10 years, we have shared the joy of sailing with over 10,000 disabled persons and their families onboard our barrier-free catamaran. As we approach a decade of serving the disabled community we ask for your support this Giving Tuesday. 100% of every donation helps to provide the opportunity for a disabled community member to sail onboard Impossible Dream. We believe the water is healing, it creates community, independence and improves the quality of life for disabled persons and their families. By donating this Giving Tuesday you will be gifting a unique and unforgettable experience onboard Impossible Dream, that positively impacts the lives of disabled sailors.

After spending seven months in the boat yard and then at Shake-A-Leg docks, The Impossible Dream now has a new North Sails 3DI high-performance racing sail, and her centerboards are fully operational for the first time. She has been completely repainted and has a new trampoline between the bows, among many other exciting improvements. We embarked on our voyage six weeks later than usual and are working hard to arrive at your port so that we can once again share the joy of sailing with the disabled community. We thank all our supporters and sponsors for their patience and generosity. The crew of Impossible Dream can't wait to see everyone soon!

Every boat needs a dog and Winter will always be ours. Winter has been Deborah's loyal companion for eight years and was the first member of the Impossible Dream crew. She brought joy to our visitors, helped clean food off the floor, was a delightful swimming buddy, and an expert cuddler. The best boat dog we could ask for. We will miss you Winty!
Watch our guest crew member Rob Klein race with Charlie Shipway, our Martha's Vinyard Ambassador. Charlie has modified his Herreshoff sailboat to be sailed by someone with paralysis. With a little bit of problem solving, Rob performs an expert transfer from our dingy to Chalie's boat. This is just a taste of some of the activities our crew members with disabilities are able to do throughout our summer voyage.
