We're leaving Cape Lookout. Our first offshore passage with the kids and night time arrival. We continue on the ICW and just when we took a steering wheel off to put new leather on, our chain snaps, anchor lost forever. We're limping to the City dock in Wilmington. We're waiting out the remnants of tropical storm Melissa in a cozy anchorage close to Solomon's Island. The wether is quite beautiful for a change, so Sina puts her bikini on for a swim. After we free ourselves from a have object on our anchor, we're making our way to Annapolis for the boat show, shopping, meeting with friends and other cursing families. A king tide and tropical storm Melissa make for interesting water levels in Annapolis and finally encourage us to find a more protected anchorage.
