Will we get it RIGHT this time, crossing the notorious MESSINA Strait for the second time as we head for our winter berth, Porto Della Grazie. In this episode we sail the last leg of the northern coast of Sicily before making a passage through the notorious Messina Strait, navigating abnormal currents, dodging whirlpools and dealing with high speed ferries before rounding the headland and making it to our winter berth at Porto Della Grazie marina.

Another squall, another sail. Sailing the west coast of Sicily we get caught in another squall and suffer more sail damage, lose one knott of speed as we get a bag wrapped around our prop before eventually making it to the marina. where we take a well earned break and go off exploring dsome of the less seen sights and places.

Sailing to Mazara we get caught in a surprise squall, in the marina we have to dismantle the pontoon to rescue our cat PJ and if that wasn't enough when leaving the marina we get our boat tangled up in the mooring lines.
