The International 14 is at the leading edge of the sailing world. This high performance, racing dinghy is where it is today because it has managed to effectively balance development and performance against fleet growth at the national and international levels. Throughout its long and esteemed history, the I14 has stayed at the forefront of design and technology, without forgetting why it exists -- great sailboat racing! And in summer 2015, the World Championships for this exciting class is coming to Geelong, Australia!

Whilst the name may have changed many times in the 168 years of continual running, the planning of Royal Geelong Yacht Club's Annual Australia Day Regatta is well underway for 2012. The Royal Geelong Yacht Club, State Government of Victoria and City of Greater Geelong, are excited to relaunch the event as the Festival of Sails, consolidating on its rich history, growing regatta fleet and increasing competitor and public visitation.
