My first 50 years: Not so much what I did but where did the time go? How many of us can relate to that? I don't think that I will bore everyone with my life history...what I will say is it has flown by. I often reflect back and wonder if my life would still be the same if I would of have done some things differently. Where my wife and I are today was somewhat of a difficult decision, but life-changing. We have simplified the things in our life. Relieved ourselves of clutter and material things. Downsized!! Hung up our careers and decided to chase my dream, now our dream, and buy a sailboat, liveaboard, and set sail....Destination unknown, for now. Currently, we are up in NW Washington living on our 1976 Cal 34 III, "Wild Rover". We didn't name the boat and neither of us is Irish, but her name is fitting. Wild Rover is outfitted for offshore cruising which was a big factor in the purchase. Cal wasn't on our short list of boats, but, once you see her you will know why.
