Every now and then we can afford to take some time off and getting spoiled by the natural surrounding beauties of living in North Queensland.

The days after cyclone Debbie in Bowen: afraid of loosing everything, boat and house included and who knows what else! But lucky we got through this too and we also managed to get a surf!!!!!

The journey of a couple - John Pott and Manuela Visani - respectively Australian and Italian, in the construction of their catamaran Essenza. Living an alternative life in North Queensland, in the town of Bowen, at the top of the Whitsundays Islands, the married couple shares their experience in the building process of Essenza while also working and slowing down to the simple things in life in the beautiful area of the Great Barrier Reef. They are following the design plan of the boat builder Peter Snell: a 41 foot catamaran. Their goal is to have an alternative lifestyle living aboard. This video is about The hulls turning. We finished the construction of the 2 hulls of our catamaran Essenza and we invited few strong friends to help us turning them right. After then we will be able to go on with building.
