I combined my dev + freedive talents to create LucidSeas! The first of its kind dive conditions app.
https://lucidseas.com Kelp forests like this are either magical or a murky mess. It all comes down to conditions. I got tired of showing up and finding awful viz and surge. Or missing a perfect window because I didn’t know it existed. Surfers have Surfline. Divers had nothing. So I built something. LucidSeas gives freedivers and snorkelers actual condition forecasts. Visibility estimates, swell direction, wind, and tides weighted for specific dive spots. It’s live, it’s free, and someone already paid for it on day one. Link in bio. Tell me what you think. Currently in North America. Comment if you’d like to see your spot added! #freediving #snorkeling #kelpforest #diveconditions #oceanlife

We went freediving and snorkeling one afternoon off of Shell Beach in La Jolla, California. The water was above 70 degrees which is amazing for California. Snorkeling around "Seal Rock" is the best place in San Diego to find these Harbor seals. Google map link below. https://goo.gl/maps/8LVHVvRLTw22
