Now with less editing and more real-life onboard???.. Hi all, this episode takes you on a sailing adventure along the beautiful coast of New Zealand. The journey starts from Tauranga Harbour and goes all the way to Mercury Island, offering stunning views of the coastline throughout the trip. The video features a harrowing experience where the anchor becomes wrapped and drags along the ocean floor, putting the safety of our catamaran at risk. We are forced to act quickly and decisively late in the evening to avoid a potential disaster. In addition to the nail-biting drama, the video also features playful and friendly dolphins that swim alongside the boat, adding a sense of joy and wonder to the journey. However, not all is smooth sailing, as Yogi suffers from sea sickness, reminding us all of the harsh realities of life at sea. Overall, this episode provides a unique and exciting perspective on the beauty and challenges of sailing along the New Zealand coast. From the breathtaking scenery to the unexpected obstacles, it's a thrilling adventure sure to captivate viewers from start to finish. In this video, we share our experience of receiving a Tsunami warning while living on our catamaran off the coast of New Zealand. We heard the warning sirens blaring and were immediately faced with a potentially life-and-death decision. Despite an evacuation order, we made the quick decision to move our boat to a safer location. A magnitude 8.1 earthquake had hit the Kemadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand, triggering a Tsunami warning. We were unsure of how big the Tsunami would be, but we knew we had to act fast. The question remained, was our decision to move the boat to a safer location the right one? Following the Tsunami warning, we took a break from work to upgrade our boat and explore the northernmost part of New Zealand. Through this video, we hope to share our experience and offer some insight into how to deal with a Tsunami warning when living on a boat. Join us as we reflect on our decision and ultimately answer the question, was it the right one? This episode is all about the big step of renting out the house and starting to live on anchor. So far, we have cashed out of my former business, a car sales yard, purchased a boat in Tahiti and sailed it back to New Zealand to have a baby. But there are still big projects in the way of us becoming full-time cruisers. The house needs cleaning, painting and landscaping. The Tender needs repair, the water maker does not work and packing up all the junk from the house. Come along as we knock off these big projects and cast free to live on anchor. And PS I highlight differences of opinion to Keith at @SailingZatara Please like and subscribe and watch as we take on the massive goal of sailing our Leopard catamaran around the world, looking for yummy and unique food experiences while doing so. Hi all, In this episode Liam's troubles continue, and the worry is taking its toll. We also return to living onboard our leopard 48 sailing catamaran. It's been left abandoned for six months which was a terrible mistake. Due to our budgets, we need to continue with the plan to live on Coco and rent out the house as soon as possible. Despite having a newborn baby and being tired from Liam's health issues we push forwards.
