bluboats was founded in the spring of 2006 by professional sailor Christian «Blumi» Scherrer and yachtdesigner Christian Bolinger. bluboats is a consultant and distribution company bringing elegant and fast sailing yachts onto the water by relying on a large network of specialized partners. The goal is to have several types of semi-custom and one-design sailing yachts all optimized for their specific purposes. The semi-custom blu30 was the first such yacht, followed by blu26 as first one-design yacht.
