Hi! We're John, Jacqueline, and Chloe the Dog. We live in the beautiful 1000 Islands of Ontario, Canada. We're also very new boaters, and recently purchased a Carver motor yacht. We're learning as we go, from handling the boat, to maintenance, to equipment and repairs. But it's not all work. There are good times and great laughs with friends. We wanted to share our stories with you - these range from our thoughts on buying a boat, repairs, gear reviews, a day on the water, Marina life, and just about everything else in between. If you're a new boater, we hope you might avoid some of the pitfalls we stumbled into. And if you're an experienced boater, you might recognize yourself when you were new to boating! And if you just like good stories, and want to learn more about our part of the world, then Welcome! Being on the water gives us a sense of peace and happiness as an escape from our regular and hectic world. It's Equilibrium on the Water...our Aqualibrium!
