This is a video Imade for someone that was asking me about what it was like living on a sailboat in Hawaii. As a 10yr Maui resident I flew to San Diego to buy a Catalina 27 which I then sailed back to Maui and sailed the islands for 4 years. 14yr Hawaii Resident. 9 yrs boating in Hawaii. This isn't an exciting video, but it's special to me. I never take it for granted that things like this are a daily part of my life. While having to dinghy to and from shore makes simple tasks, not so simple, it also provides me with some very magical moments. From the beauty of the sun setting over water, to dolphins swimming along nearby, and to getting to see a variety of styles of boats up close. Every day is like going to a boat show. It's all pretty special, and something I know I will remember when this journey ends.
