During year of (2009-2011) I gathered different parts of lead (mostly wheel weights) and friends giving lead parts. I made a "male" mold from white Styrofoam immersed in silica + 3% of betonite (should have used up to 10%). Heating/melting took over 7hrs - propane 250K BTU heater and 40K BTU hand held heater.
