I got a LOT of great footage and I had a wonderful time on this cruise... but content creation is challenging!! YES! Cruise ships are still doing game shows, but they are a bit different now. I was very excited to be the first picked for "Who Wants To Be a Royal Caribbean-aire" on Adventure of the Seas. They sanitized the microphone after each contestant and we sat 6 feet apart. Crew members all wore masks but the guests did not. The chairs in the room were spaced out in small groups 6 feet apart.

Taking the covid antigen test the day before then end of the cruise was a very streamlined and easy process. Cards were left in the rooms with the ways to sign up for a time slot for the test. The process was quick and easy. The very first Royal Caribbean cruise ship to sale from the United States has just arrived and Nassau Bahamas. freedom of the Seas is now beside Adventure of the Seas in NASA making this the first international port from a Royal Caribbean ship sailing from the United States since covid.

The Port Authorities of Cozumel, Mexico and government officials honored Captain Kate McCue and the crew of the Celebrity EDGE cruise ship today on the dock at the Port of Cozumel. Celebrity EDGE is the first ship to sail from the USA after the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a historic day in cruise history! I was really surprised that the main dining room experience has not changed significantly after covid. The tables are spread out and there is social distancing. The menus are now on your phone via a QR code, but everything else is the same amazing service that I have expected with Royal Caribbean over the past 15 years.

Woot! I got my ROYAL UP bid. Royal Caribbean sent me an email about a month ago and I thought I had no chance of getting my bid since I bid the lowest amount possible. But I just got an email saying that I got my upgrade! I'm so excited!
