The final leg of our first trip on the cabin cruiser! In this third part, we leave the beautiful Egmont Key and try our luck heading out into the gulf waters... but the swells are too much! With conditions too rough to enjoy offshore, we make the decision to head back inside, navigating the famous Johns Pass before settling into the calm Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). It's a long cruise back home, but we make time for a well-deserved dockside lunch at a fantastic Mexican restaurant, right on the water. We finally make it back to the home marina, officially completing an epic 118-mile journey! A perfect Florida boat trip on the Gulf Coast! 🚤 We cruise into beautiful Sarasota for a stop at the iconic Marina Jack. It was a gorgeous day for seeing the city from the water and enjoying the vibrant scene at the marina. On the way back, we couldn't resist stopping at Egmont Key! This little slice of paradise is a historic preserve and state park located at the mouth of Tampa Bay. It truly was an incredible adventure and a classic Florida trip!
