This next 6 month season, our plans are to sail all along the Mediterranean and Adriatic Sea. Before we take off on our first sail we get her in ship shape while we wait out some ugly weather. As soon as we leave the marina and begin our first sail of 2024, things take a major turn... The sailing lifestyle might not always be sunshine and rainbows... As just two people on board, there is a lot of responsibility between the both of us whilst underway and one of us might have slipped.... Balance 442 Hull #6 - Lasai finally splashes and now has to go straight to a boat show! Usually no one likes a show off but we all are loving THIS show off! Our maiden voyage took us 36 hours and we really got to know her. With only 3 on board we made it to Cannes and got her looking sharp. Hopefully after all that we have going on, John & I will still remember how to sail her! Fingers crossed!

Hey Tipsyy Crew, After months and months of waiting, she has finally made her way to the Mediterranean. Our brand new Balance 442 sail catamaran is even more beautiful than we expected. Whilst shopping for different catamaran options, the Balance has always had our eye and was #1 in our book. With great timing and some luck from the sea gods, we were able to swoop in and get hull #6. While she was making her way from Cape Town, South Arica to Civitavecchia, Italy on a giant cargo ship, we had LOTS of shopping (& a little of exploring) to do before she arrived. Caught in a great rome-ance, we fell in love with Italy's capital, and our new floating home. Somebody help us down because we are still on cloud 9. ? ? Thanks for watching! We get treated to an amazing Barbecue to end our first visit to our now favorite anchorage ever. We later sail the boat back to Bequia to get it cleaned up and do some provisioning before some of our Florida friends fly in to visit our floating home for the first time.
