After many months in the design stage, we are finally ready to install and test our new SECRET WEAPON.. our new Flexible fiberglass TopCon Arch Pro 200 watt solar panels from BougeRV.. in fact, we are installing 12 of them for a total output power rating of 2400watts! They will all be installed on our new fiberglass hardtops, there will be 2 sets of 4 panels installed on the new Bimini hardtop, and another set of 4 on the new dodger hardtop.. Today we install our first of several new big surprise additions to Sophisticated Lady that will dramatically change/enhance her appearance.. we'll be installing a new radar antenna tower from SeaView Global marine systems! This one is designed to accommodate our RayMarine Quantum 2 Doppler radar antenna, and our new Starlink Gen3 satellite antenna.. in addition to providing platforms for a FLIR Thermal Night Vision camera and several new antennas for AIS and VHF etc.. it's going to be a radical change in appearance and functionality for Sophisticated Lady made entirely possible by the addition of our new fiberglass hardtops to secure it to.. and it's going to be awesome!
