Sorry my daughter isnt so great at taking videos. She is getting a little better however than she used to be.
We left Ohio towards Buffalo New York to head into the Erie Canal. This ivdeo shows our 5 day trip across the lake to Buffalo. Now in Buffalo we have gotten our cradle made and are getting our mast unstepped. We will be headed into the Erie canal within the next few days!! Once we hit the ICW. I will post the next video on our Erie Canal trip!
Some of the smaller swells we encountered approaching the western end of Sturgeon Point headed north east to Buffalo. Video doent do justice!
After being dock locked for over a month we are finally going to be making our way across the rest of lake Erie headed for Buffalo. Sail Away With Me link https://m.facebook.com/BrokeLivingRich?ref=bookmarks
I was playing around with the "Big Eye's" App on my phone, lol. No I was not drunk, I just have a great personality is all. Have a great laugh at my expense.
Just some pictures I wanted to share with you guys along our journey! Keep watching...many many more videos to come, especially when we go through the Erie Canal headed for the Ocean....straight through New York on the Hudson!
Sometimes when you go out sailing whether for pleasure or if you are a traveler like myself, you are gonna have to use that motor at some point. If not...you can just hang out for a while and drift, hoping the wind will pick up that is. Enjoy!
We are currently headed north on Lake Erie towards the canal to go into Lake Michigan to go under the Mackinaw Bridge. I will take as much video and take as many pictures as I can along our journey. Our goal is to get down to Chicago and start sailing the "Great Loop" and get out of these lakes before the waters start to freeze. Thank you everyone for watching! I appreciate all of your support!
We had a great 4th and I hope everyone else dis too! Got to watch a great firework show right from the bridge of our current Marina...which we are staying at for about a week.
After the storm there were many things we had to get done...meanwhile while taking care of our own stuff...we were helping . Other boaters find their lost things that floated away during the flooding, with the dinghy.
Getting hit with another storm tonight. Got some beautiful video and photos out of it. Seems like it never stops storming since we moved onto the boat!

We got hit by a horrible storm that caused major flooding/storm surge. It definately gave my sailboat a beating. Im glad we were able to make it to the docks in time. Spent the day leaning sideways.
This was one of the most exciting days since we have bought our sailboat! I am so happy to be sharing our story with everyone! Don't forget to subscribe to see where our crazy journey might take us!
The first few nights were the hardest...getting used to all the sounds and the rocking of the boat. I can say now though after more than a week of living on the boat...everyone sleeps like a baby. In fact we sleep better on the boat than we ever did in our house!
