Tips on Tuesday - Today we perform basic maintenance on the bow thruster, but we also install new Silicon Seals. This will help stop water intrusion around the bow thruster. We also install a water alarm near the bow thruster just in case of a leak. Better to know about water in the bow sooner rather than later!

I know the video is long and maybe boring for some, but it's to help people understand how to maintain the bow thruster. Hopefully you will enjoy...

The last time we arrived in Croatia, Checked in Dubrovnik and came straight to Korcula to meet our friends from the US, - it was amazing - the time with them and the place itself!
Man, this place really made a mark between our all-time favorites!

Funny enough as we drafted our plan where to sail in the Med we were not even sure if we will come to Croatia. We heard it’s beautiful but also very expensive - even more since just recently - in January 2023 it joined Eurozone. But we got spellbound right away from our first short stop in Dubrovnik, but Korcula definitely took it to the next level - if that was even possible.
Well - all this is nothing - you must see it yourself!

Unfortunately there was not much wind throughout Indonesia, so we had to use the engine... ALOT. The seals on the C-Drive need to be replaced after every 800 Engine hours, and we didn't budget for the light winds in Indonesia. So we had to get Aquarius out of the water in a hurry, and the only place we could find was Asian Fast Marine.

Asian Fast Marine is located 20 miles South of Singapore, on the Indonesian Island of Batam.

This was the fasted haul out and return we ever had, 23:30 hours! WOW.

If you need to haul out in Indonesia, Asian Fast Marine will probably be your Best CHOICE. The only problem is that only their employees are required to all the work on you boat. But, it was fairly priced, and their workers have skills!

Work continues on Aquarius. We finish replacing the old Amel Chain Counter with the New Quick QNC CHC Chain Counter. It matches the B&G Triton2 Displays, so everything looks great at the helm. In this video we take a kayak expedition through Ko Hong before taking off for Khoa Ta Poo. You probably know Khoa Ta Poo by it's movie name... Jame Bond Island. We drop anchor close by, and dinghied the short distance to Khao Phing Kan. This is the island where the villain in the 1974 Bond flick, The Man With The Golden Gun, built his evil lair.

We tour the island and watch the sun set over Aquarius anchored near by. Then, we try to get back, but there is a surprise waiting underwater for us during our dinghy ride back to Aquarius.

After arriving in Italy, we found ourselves being hauled out earlier than expected!
