Some weeks it feels like every single thing that can go wrong does. We, as sailors, will anxiously wait for a part, thinking it will solve all of our problems. It's far from the truth, but it definitely makes us feel better. I attempt to replace the shaft seal, IN THE WATER. You HAVE to watch this if you are replacing yours... it really wasn't that big of a deal. Afterwards, I continue on my journey... feeling a little hopeless; which can be the reality of living aboard sometimes.

Two new engines within months of each other?! I made it to Fort Lauderdale and after a month I got my second new Nanni engine put into my boat. I sand my teak and wax my hull while waiting for the new exhaust system that still isn't ready.

I finally get to splash after a month in the yard! I was in the yard for two extra months waiting for an exhaust system that wasn't even close to being ready. I picked up my brand new Highfield dinghy which I'm so excited about! Then I finished some fun projects around the boat, including installing my third solar panel.
