Here are 3 reasons why we bought a steel boat; 1. They are strong! We want to travel anywhere including choppy seas and transatlantic crossings without worrying about the fragility of our boat. Steel sailboats have a more rigid structure and are robust so they can better withstand grazes, rubs, and bumps when in the open water. 2. They are stable! Though not as light and fast as fiberglass boats, the weight of steel boats make them more steady in choppy waters and that means reduce chances of seasickness. 3. We are going electric! Since we were buying a used boat, we needed to select a structure that could be alter in order install our electric motor and a steel structure is highly adaptable. Anche se mi ero ripromessa di scrivere ogni giorno, oggi ho deciso di usare tutto il mio tempo per esplorare questo luogo, che sono certa mi darà molta ispirazione. Dopo aver navigato per alcune ore tra le isole, abbiamo ormeggiato al moletto e siamo scesi ad esplorare la terraferma.
