We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). Navigando mure a destra, la performance del trimarano italiano è penalizzata dai danni subiti la scorsa notte: Giovanni Soldini spiega: "Senza il foil del timone sinistro è molto difficile controllare l'assetto longitudinale di Maserati Multi 70, che tende ad impennarsi per poi ricadere nell'acqua: a risentirne è ovviamente la velocità. Non vediamo l'ora di strambare!" Maserati Multi 70, agli aggiornamenti delle 3 UTC, navigava a 26 nodi di velocità, una cinquantina di miglia dietro PowerPlay, che procedeva a 28 nodi a 1253 miglia dal traguardo.
