⚓ We still shout at each other when we drop anchor and then act like nothing happened afterwards 😆 ⛵ I (Greta) still question if the boat will actually turn back upright when we start heeling 🍜 Sometimes offshore “dinners” are just cup noodles and that is totally fine 🛠️ We have clear job assignments that have not really changed in the last 7 years 🧽 We procrastinate when it comes to scrubbing the hull 🌊 We still have a lot to learn. Sailing is not something you can fully master in a classroom. Some lessons only come from being out there in the elements. Here is to embracing the quirks, the learning curves and the messy bits of life at sea. That is what makes the journey ours 💙 If you are dreaming about boatlife or curious about what it really takes to sail offshore, scroll to our link in bio. You will find resources, tips and a glimpse into the reality of living on the water so you can start charting your own course. Stay Salty, Greta and Michael on Zambezi ⛵️ #sailing #sailinglife #boatlife⚓️ #liveaboard #sailingadventure #liveaboardlife

Hiking through Shenandoah National Park, this is the point of Humpback Rock right at 3,080 feet. Amazing view on a super cold windy day. About 20 degrees with windchill. Blessed to see such a sight and I hope you get to experience similar views in person yourself. Well worth the hike up.

Our very own taster of a Lake Race at Rutland Sailing Club - Mike Threadgill on the helm and Dave Grundy crewing. Glorious sailing conditions which took us all round Rutland Water. We came in second!!! - not bad for our first race ;)
