I giorni al varo si avvicinano inesorabili e noi dobbiamo stare al passo. Ecco perché anche oggi, finito di lavorare al pc, abbiamo indossato i "vestiti brutti" e abbiamo carteggiato l'altra metà della barca. Finito quel lavoro c'era ancora un filo di luce, così con il supporto di una torcia abbiamo dato una passata veloce alle murate (che sarebbero le "pareti" esterne della barca) Dopo il nostro intervento (io sdraiata sulla barca a pulire la parte superiore, Andrea da sotto in piedi su un barile di ferro vuoto a passare quella inferiore) Julia ha quasi riacquistato un po' del suo fascino. C'è ancora molto da fare. Domani si va di primo passaggio con il primer. Di che colore sarà? NB: non è il colore finale, il primer è la vernice che si mette prima dell'antivegetativa. These 42' eco yachts have been designed to sail with the wind in your hair, they use sustainable materials where possible (60% recycled aluminium for example) and they aim for a clean "hotel suite" look inside. ?? They come with a Quantum square-top, tri-radial, full batten main sail and a self-tacking Jib with options for a Code-0 and Gennaker. ?? The R4 is driven by the wind and electrical propulsion (2 Torqeedo FP10's or 2 OceanVolt SD15's) on calm days. Batteries are recharged through hydrogeneration if you have the OceanVolts, plus solar and a generator if needed. You can hydrogenerate through one or two engines. ?? This is a cabriolet cat- the Vaan R4 does not have a large, fixed roof over the cockpit, but a bimini that can be quickly installed and removed for protection from the elements. ?? The design of the R4 is anchored in circular principles. This catamaran is mostly made from recyclable materials and it is almost completely recyclable itself. The hull is made of more than 50% recycled aluminium (old window frames, traffic signs and license plates). Some parts contain more than 75% reused materials. ??
