Kayaks, SUPs, pedal boats, rowboats, outrigger canoes, inflatable flamingos retrofitted with bike cranks—if it moves without wind or fuel, it’s fair game. And yes, there are prizes. 9.8 knots yesterday afternoon while out sailing on this vintage sailboat! I know many of you have been much faster on a sailboat, but this was my fastest ever. The beautiful, long lines on this 43 foot 1963 Sparkman and Stephens helped get us up to speed. We were blowing past other boats! 😄 If two sailboats are going in the same direction, it's a race!

After 2 weeks of fighting off Dengue Fever I got in Tahiti I flew back to the sailboat. It's true that Bora Bora has the most beautiful water in the world. After catching the fish, Ira (ee-ra) wasn't interested in filleting it, so I did that part. I had her at least take out the remains and throw them in the water to bring her into the process a bit. Maybe next time she'll do the filleting as well.
