How to make climbing down a ladder in a tight dress look easy. We got invited to a post wedding reception get together but as our boat is currently on the hard we have to use ladders to get on and off. Jen does it in style.

Day 6 of our Christmas calendar takes you into the engine room, where all the heavy-duty magic happens! 🎄 Here’s what you’ll find in this surprisingly spacious area: 🚛 Main engine: - A Volvo Penta TMD22 with 78 horsepower, running like a champ with just 2,000 hours. - We’re planning a full service before setting sail next summer. ⚡ Fischer Panda genset: - This powerful generator provides AC power whenever we need it—perfect for life at sea. ⚡ Port bulkhead: - Packed with many of our electrical Victron components, which we’ll show you in a future episode. It might be tight compared to a house, but for a boat, this is luxury! Got questions about our engine room or how we keep it running smoothly? Drop them in the comments! 💬 🎥 See you tomorrow as we explore more of Vela! 🎵 Music by Sergio Prosvirini from Pixabay #YouTubeShorts #Explore #TravelVlog #Vloggers #DailyLife #ChristmasCalendar #Vlogmas #ChristmasOnBoard #Beneteau44cc #Sailing #Liveaboard #LifeAtSea

Week 3 of the season ending Frosties Regatta at Strangford Lough Yacht Club was very different to the first 2 weeks. The crews were greated with with 8 to 12 knots of breeze from the West which would eventually fade before doing a 180 degree flip as it died out to 4 to 5 knots from the East. The J109 Going To Red and the A35 Le Bascular continued there matching racing series to see who would take the title of Frosties Champion 2023. The team on J109 GTR broke to the right of the course at the start which turned out to be the wrong decision as the Island end of the line was favoured. The A35 was leading at the first mark after a couple of close crosses but the J109 got a better set while to leeward which allowed them to push the A35 up to windward which caused them to momentarily round up letting the J109 jump out in front and gybe on the inside. The A35 came back in the second half of the run to lead at the bottom mark before stretching out their lead on the last beat. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you liked this video and it encourages you to want watch more. It you like the Time Lapse format be sure to let us know in the comments so we know to make more of these race reviews.
