Step 2: Twist top around At this point you should have two ends – a free and a standing one bring the free end under the standing one. Step 3: Bring end into the loop Bring it over and into the loop, forming a number eight. Step 4: Tighten Tighten the two ends.

Comprobar periódicamente el estado de nuestra jarcia es imprescindible. El mástil, que está compuesto de simple aluminio, sufre unas cargas terribles por la presión que ejerce el viento en las velas. Esto aumenta cuando viene una racha de viento o al virar el barco. Date cuenta que si se suelta un obenque o un estay, la rotura del mástil y desarboladura del mismo es inminente.
