Rundgående minskar mängden skot. Automatiskt hamnar högen i lä, redo för nästa slag. Minskar dramatiskt risken att någon står på skotet. Längden anpassas till att de med marginal skall räcka när seglet är inrullat. Tjänar ungefär två meter mot separata skot. Använder mina även till focken med fasta skotpunkter och till tackline för gennaker.

What’s the latest news from our sheds in Cape Town? The deck of the new SW108#01 is now married to the hull, and our first 108' hybrid yacht is taking shape day by day! The 'dry fit' technique combines the need to keep the boat 'open' as long as possible, facilitating the assembly of elements onboard, with the need to structurally join the deck to the hull and - above all - to the bulkheads. Ya desde primera hora la ría amenazaba tormenta. Temperatura elevada, mucha humedad, aire cargado, mal color. Empezó a soplar viento del este y la experiencia me dijo que debíamos ir a puerto. Al poco de atracar se desató una tormenta con vientos de cuarenta nudos.
