The Strike 15 has folding outriggers. This video shows a mock up of the unfolding system. The hulls and beams are real, but clearly unfinished. However the beambolts and attachments are temporary. Trailing width is 2200, approx 7ft The outrigger unfolds itself because the boat is on a slight slope, so gravity is forcing it to open. Normally one would pull it open by hand - very easy though Build your own Strike from plans by Woods Designs www.sailingcatamarans.com I also have a range of other multihull designs, both power and sail from 14-45ft that you can build yourself from plans

​@the_reeva_project They said the ocean isn’t for kids… but it might just be the best classroom of all. 🌊 This summer, our 15-year-old daughter sailed 600+ nautical miles with us from Port Blair, India to Langkawi, Malaysia. ⚓ No crew. No buddy boat.
