Powered by twin 300 HP outboards, the Dracan reached 30 knots. On the day of our test, the sea was perfectly flat, but crossing the wakes of several other boats at full speed gave us a good idea of how it would handle in waves. In the curves, the 42 stays flat. The modern design of this semi-open hull is unmistakably successful, and the carefully designed layout, with 2, 3 or 4 cabins, will adapt to any program. The deck layout is ideal for relaxation, with large sun loungers aft and a forward cockpit. But don't bother looking in the options catalog of the La Rochelle-based trimaran shipyard: This “repower” was undertaken by Emeraude Multicoques, the Marseille-based dealer for the Ebro Delta (Spain) brand, which has also become the integrator of the hybrid formula for all Neel boats (new or used) and even other models on request. The installation is particularly neat and is obviously guaranteed by Emeraude Multicoques. It includes a 25-kWh battery and a 25-kW motor powered by 96 V. The range at 6 knots is approximately 10 hours.
