The 52 Viking is well known for its amazing sea keeping ability and fishability. It is very fuel efficient, cruising at 30 knots with top speeds near 40 kts. In 2023 a Seakeeper 9 Gyro Stabilizer was added and is still under the factory warranty. A 1000 hour engine service was performed by ACE Marine Diesel in June 2024 on both main engines and the generator. Both main engine turbo chargers and MDDS boards were replaced at that time.
