This video illustrates the force of the wind while on a close hauled/close reach with one reef in the main and 2/3 of the Genoa out in 17 knots of wind with 23 knot gusts. Our speed over ground last week ranged from a comfortable 6.5 knots to 12.5 knots. As you may know, the Lagoon 450 is well known for its capability to sail in low wind and down wind.
