Each year in September, you can see the most spectacular sailing yachts from around the world in the port of Saint-Tropez. There are approximately 250 - 300 sailing yachts and participants and numerous spectators on the water and on land. Saint-Tropez will welcome the first of the world's most luxurious yachts on Saturday evening. All types of yachts will be displayed, from ultra-modern models with a sleek design to more traditional models. High-tech performance and luxurious interiors are all these yachts' most distinguishing features. The event will likely attract a few prominent faces since these gems aren't accessible to everyone. There are a number of regattas in various categories. Still, you can also enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor with a "Villages des Voiles" (sailing village) with 10-15 exhibitors. The event will include musical contributions, a boules competition, and a fashion show featuring sailing equipment. Reserve your place on ether a 12mR classic racing yacht or 15mR "Hallowe'en" for Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2023 today. The program will be described in more detail shortly. J109 Going to Red was finding it hard to avoid the Cork 1720's who where sailing a different course with shared marks on the final day of Volvo Cork Week 2024. After ducking one starboard tacker it looked like they were clear until another one flicked over and call STARBOARD. The skipper on the J109 gave him the option to let them cross or get leebowed which would have destroyed both there races. Luckily common sense prevailed and both boats got to separate and finish there separate races. The team at Bottom Up Boats hope you like this short clip from our week of racing at Volvo Cork Week 2024.
