We were fishing and all of s sudden bubbles came up all around the boat. Whales feeding and we were stuck in the middle of it. My son Jack ended up catching a bird that I released unharmed.

Color changing is common in marine organisms, but tanning is extremely rare. Scientists from the University of Hawai'i discovered that the juvenile scalloped hammerhead sharks in Kaneohe Bay were tanning in the shallow, clear reef waters! (Lowe & Lowe, 1996).
