With the tank repaired and the rain ceased we went in search of some fresh drinking water. Hiking up hills and rough terrain we find a suitable spring. With the help of some of the village kids, we do multiple trips to carry the water back to the kayak. Undoubtedly overloaded with 70L of water per trip and windy wavy seas, we just make it back to the boat before the kayak is completely under. This is one of three galley layout options being offered. ? This option is for a wide open lower countertop and one upper cabinet unit. This is really well suited for having countertop cooking appliances, which is our plan. Another options is to have the upper cabinet and then a lower cabinet under it in which a small microwave could be housed. The final option I have to clarify with James and I will update this description when I find out.
