We didn't know about Thermal Cookers until we started living on our sailboat and needed to find ways to conserve gas. These thermal cookers are the bomb! They only use 8 mins of gas and then leave it for 2 hours for a ready delicious meal. Only a few miles from the marina we saw this storm approaching. Nothing you can do but let it pass. We furled in the genoa and just motored until it passed. We didn't get any video of the actual storm by a friend that was racing at the time had cameras rolling. So you can see what we went through. No waves to speak of so I just turned my back to it and waited it out.
