Just outside my window on our houseboat. Our pelicans eating every morning during this time of year on their migration trip to stay warm. Pelicans are huge birds. They can stand up the 4 feet tall. And they can weigh almost thirty pounds... Wingspan can be as big as 11 feet wide. Living in nature on my houseboat for free on the Tennessee river has been a amazing adventure. This is new horse for Lou. She is one of my students who has been riding a smaller horse. she just turned 14 and is moving up to to this scope but green thoroughbred named Mulligan.
