The Ocean Race Europe is a north-south European offshore race scheduled to take place in 2025, ahead of the 2026/27 edition of the round-the-world Race. It will start in the Baltic Sea, sail across the North Sea and the Atlantic, through the Strait of Gibraltar, and finish in the Mediterranean, with up to five stops along the way (in addition to the start and finish ports). Race Day at America's Cup World Series Auckland will be 1,081 days after the New York Yacht Club challenged the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for the Cup. The American challenge was issued seconds after entries opened. Race Day will be 460 days after DEFIANT, American Magic's first AC75, was launched in Rhode Island. Race Day will be 62 days after PATRIOT first touched the sea in Auckland.
