This is a short video from of the electric powered catamaran we surveyed today in San Pedro, California. Oceanvolt was the company who built the electric propulsion system for this yacht. Two large lithium battery banks supply the power and the yacht has a huge solar system on it as well. Very cutting edge and hopefully more yachts like time to come.
