We sail on the good ship Saracen, a Beneteau Oceanis 473 from 2006. Out journey started in Scotland in early 2023 and our ultimate goal is to sail around the globe …..slowly. We make these videos mostly for family and friends and to create a record of our adventures for ourselves so that we can look back at them later in life, were not in it to make money (way to hard). One of the most exciting and anxiety inducing moments is seeing our 17,000 pound sailboat hovering above the ground making its way to the water! being dropped from a few feet off the ground could do more damage than being out in a storm at sea! It's always a feeling of relief when the keel touches the water, and our adventure home is floating again!
