I vanliga fall gillar vi besökare, men inte denna sort. Vi var inne i marinann och dĂ„ fick vi ombord möss. SĂ„ nu har de gnagt pĂ„ vĂ„r mat och vi har fĂ„tt vĂ€nda upp och ner pĂ„ allt igen för att se till sĂ„ den ej kan komma Ă„t nĂ„gon mat. Vi har ju det mesta förvarat i plastlĂ„dor men eftersom vi hĂ„ller pĂ„ och slutbunkrar sĂ„ har vi lite mat stĂ„endes framme som vi ej hunnit packa ner Ă€n. Nu har vi lagt ut musfĂ€llor och hoppas vi kan bli av med detta peoblem snart. Vi lĂ€mnar inte för Stilla havet innan vi fĂ„tt ordning pĂ„ detta. THE BEGINNING OF THE ADVENTURE As I hung up the phone and begin running frantically across the parking lot... A car barrels in front of me blaring its horn. Carl pops his head up and yells 'whoa, what's the rush?' Its Another Adventure, she's sinking! I scream and point across Boca Ciega bay in Gulfport St Pete. Through the Thinly scattered boats across the Anchorage you could barely see the gray hull of Another Adventure, the bow was dipping bellow the surface and the stern gunwale only 2-3 ft from the water. it appeared as if there was no way to make it in time but I didn't miss a beat as I sprinted around his car and to the dinghy dock. Hoisting the sail on the sunfish and cursing the wind gods 'of course there's no damn wind, why would there be wind at a time like this?' I exclaimed with frustration. fortunately I am smart enough to keep a paddle on bored and begin making my way out swiftly. That was over 3 years and 7000 nautical miles of Another Adventure ago! when Another Adventure was in fact not my Adventure at all. The above is the beginning of a book I will hopefully one day finish and is a true story of how sometimes just doing the right thing can open doors beyond your wildest dreams! Which is what this channel is about and more importantly what LIFE is about! ....
