This blue whale is diving in Skálfandi Bay in the north of Iceland. The shot is recorded from the North Sailing Schooner Haukur in the middle of june 2009.

Trieste seems to have a smack (yes that's the collective noun for them!) of jellyfish floating around the city at the moment. Very pretty to see. they're called Rhizostoma pulmo.
