La giornata comincia blu, come gli scorsi giorni. La differenza è quel leggero rollio che viene sottolineato da qualsiasi cosa sia appesa in barca. Ci svegliamo, facciamo colazione e aspettiamo il vento. Oggi è martedì. Qualsiasi applicazione meteo dice che entrerà aria tesa. Dopo colazione il cielo si incupisce, nuvole scure si avvicinano verso di noi e, così, decidiamo di prevenire prendendo la seconda mano di terzaroli. Cosa vuol dire? Significa ridurre la superficie di vela esposta all’aria. Quando il vento aumenta è importante regolare le vele al fine di non farsi trovare troppo invelati. E così, facciamo. Prendiamo la seconda mano. Come da programmi, il vento si presenta puntuale, in compagnia di un po’ di pioggia non invitata. Ma per fortuna, lei resta per poco. L’aria invece no. Un fresco vento al traverso ci fa galoppare verso le Azzorre. Julia vola, si toglie di dosso tutte le miglia in cui ha tenuto le ali riposte in attesa di queste condizioni. Da previsioni questa pressione sulle vele dovrebbe accompagnarci per un po’ di giorni e noi, con un gran sorriso, le diamo il benvenuto a bordo. Darf ich euch unsere wunderschöne Haehaa vorstellen? 🥹🥰 Sie ist eine Pahi 42/Captain Cook - ein 1980 entwickeltes Design von James Wharram. Orientiert wurde sich beim Baustil an den polynesischen Doppelkanus. Also was könnte besser zu ihr passen als ein polynesischer Name? 🥰 "Haehaa" heißt übersetzt so viel wie Bescheidenheit/ Demut und so haben wir diesen wunderschönen Namen gern übernommen, auch als stetige Erinnerung daran, wie wir mit diesem Boot reisen und durchs Leben gehen wollen. ❤️ Haehaa ist 12,80m lang, 6,70m breit und hat einen Tiefgang von 0,80m. Sie ist ein Eigenbau aus Sperrholz und Epoxy und wurde im Jahr 2000 fertiggestellt.
