How to tie the Anchor hitch. ?? Also known as an Anchor Bend although that's a bit of a misnomer. This can be used to fasten a line to an Anchor, a warp to an Anchor chain or to tie your tender off onto a ring at the dock. Careful, it can jam, but it should be fine under moderate loads. ?? It's similar to a round turn and 2 half hitches except you tuck the working line through the loop of the turns giving you more friction and a stronger hold. Finish it off with a half hitch. ?? Add an extra turn at the beginning if you like. Why not? In fact this will make the knot less susceptible to jamming. ?? ?? ?? #hitch #hitches #anchorhitch #multihulls #thehitcher #sailing #catamarans #sailinglife #knots #sailingknots #ropes #bestknots #multihull #knot #boats #yachts #catamaran #rope #instaknots #seamanship #katamarans

?? Who's the 1 Toothy Drifter Divers Never Expect? While you may see that big beautiful Green Moray gliding towards you it is her babies you will likely never see. Hatching from tiny eggs of about 1mm, Green Moray begin the first 8 months of their life as ribbon-shaped larvae who drift among the water column where they feed and are often preyed upon. Want to meet a Moray? Join us for a dive ?? https://cruisenautic.com
