Sailing from Europe to Africa and Crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean and Central America we sailed over 7,000 in 2024 and visited 16 countries. We survived hurricane Beryl and made many new friends. Winter sailing in the Med can be rewarding, but watch out as the snow topped mountains can send hurricane force katabatic winds to knock you flat. Good thing we have a strong blue water boat.
