Travel Sketch | How Our Worldwide Adventure Began
Our journey began with travels around Australia and Southeast Asia with friends who wanted to share in the adventure.
We then took the plunge and quit our jobs to spend a year traveling with just the three of us. The trip began with us backpacking through Asia, exploring Thailand, the Philippines, China, and Japan. We saw wild animals, bought our own Filipino fishing boat, slept on deserted islands, and spent time with locals.
Next, we road tripped around Europe, stopping anywhere that piqued our interest. We drove Italy’s Amalfi Coast, did Yacht Week in Croatia, danced at Tomorrowland and Ultra Europe, and explored Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and England.
Now we’ve started our next adventure - traveling the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran, sailing vessel Liger. Along for the ride is our resident boat dog Rose, an Australian Shepherd who loves living aboard a yacht.
