On January 16th, 2024 we left Mindelo, Cape Verde for our second leg of Atlantic Ocean Crossing. Winds looked perfect, and we were planning to be in Marinique in 12-14 days.
On the 5th day late evening we lost our main mast, then couple hours later, we lost our mizzen mast as main mast was constantly bashing into it. We still don’t know why this happened but here are some of our thoughts after 4 days this disaster happened.
Please be kind with your comments as we still in high danger and have couple days to go to reach the shore…
